Digraph are delighted to announce that we have achieved 70th place in this year’s Top 200 listing for Grant Thornton’s flagship East Midlands 200 event, which was held at the National Space Centre on Wednesday 21st June. This award is given to the top 200 privately owned businesses in the county, who have delivered the greatest sustained profit growth over a three year period from 2013 to 2016.
A fantastic achievement for the company which recognises the continued growth and success of Digraph Transport Supplies.
This is a great time to join our great company as we continue to grow and build on our phenomenal success, soon to be opening branches in Swindon, Avonmouth, Reading, Luton and Peterborough so watch this space…..
Branches opening soon….
Due to our continued success and expansion plan, we are opening branches in the following areas:
Invitations open to experienced Branch Managers, Parts Telesales, Business Development Managers and Drivers to apply for roles at the various locations. This is an incredibly exciting time for Digraph, keep your eyes peeled for more branch openings throughout the rest of the year.
Taking our hats off to the children and families of Rainbows
Digraph has raised an additional £2200 for Rainbows following a fun promotional initiative which saw our drivers and sales staff swapping brand new Digraph beanies for competitor hats worn by our customers . Once all of the hats were collected, they were all thoroughly cleaned before flying them overseas with the Armenian Ministries charity to help warm lots of little heads. Pictured are Nina Rawson, Company Secretary with Charlotte Measures, Digraph Credit Controller in front of our HUGE beanie mountain.
Northampton branch now open
Digraph opened branch no 14 in Northampton on 3rd April at Brackmills, just off junction 15 of the M1.
Fantastic results already with branch operational profitability from day one – well done team!

MESSAGE FROM JAMES
“Wow, what a fantastic year we had in 2016. We managed to double the size of the entire company in 5 short years and we’re aiming to achieve this again but in 3 years this time! Burton has far exceeded our expectations on every level and the sweet taste of success has given us the appetite to cast our nets even further in 2017. We certainly have rocked the competition but it is well known that we are the untouchables when it comes to giving our customers the highest levels of customer service. We are in a great place and we plan for 2017 to be even greater.”.
Charity Begins With Digraph
Digraph’s chosen charity is Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, based in Loughborough, Leics. It is an incredible place where life-limited children and their families can find care and support. Their incredible team of people help relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.
So, far, we have raised an incredible £13,500 for this great cause through various charity initiatives, the most recent being a charity ball which was organised by Nina Rawson and Milly Tallents which raised a massive £10,800.
We’ve also ran charity prize draws for Digraph employees, with some incredible prizes including an all-inclusive holiday to Mauritius, a 43″ HD Smart TV and an I-Pad mini.
New Nuneaton depot
We have finally moved into our new state of the art depot at Nuneaton. At 7,500 ft, it will certainly put Nuneaton on the map in terms of size and will help the branch push past the £3m sales per annum.
Truck Racing – Digraph all the way
Channel 4 at 8pm on 29th December saw Guy Martin break the UK land speed record on a pushbike whilst being towed behind a truck. This was not any old truck this was the Digraph truck and was watched by 2.4m viewers in all its glory reaching a record speed of 112 mph. You can watch the clip here. Compelling viewing and just look how much free marketing that brought us.
And yet another star TV appearance
We don’t like to brag. Oh OK then we do. Our Digraph truck also featured on 5th Gear hosted by Vicky Butler Henderson (who incidentally is a great fan of James Rawson – see photo!). This saw our truck being followed for a weekend at Nurburgring in Germany and Vicky even drove the truck. You can see the clip via You Tube http://www.streetfire.net/video/fifth-gear-23×09-20131111_part-1_2441810.htm.
From Humble Beginnings…
No, this is not a clip from the Sweeney! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Digraph story, this is how it all began – Peter Rawson, our great Founder and Chairman, a Volvo and a portacabin, set in Cat and Fiddle Lane, West Hallam, c1976.
That shows just what can be achieved with the right ingredients – sheer guts and determination, a great bunch of people and an unrivalled approach to customer service …….”whatever it takes!” not to mention, of course……an amazingly driven son (dictated by James Rawson).
